Alliance To Design Transco Compressor Station

Wood Group's Alliance Engineering was awarded a contract for the engineering and design of an additional electric motor-driven compressor and associated equipment at Transco's Station 125 in Monroe, GA.

The work is associated with Williams Partners’ Transco Mid-South Expansion Project with the first phase scheduled to be placed in service in fall 2012.

The design includes a Dresser compressor driven by a Siemens electric motor. Alliance's contract includes procurement support services. Alliance expects to complete the engineering and design this fall.
The Mid-South Pipeline Expansion is to be constructed in two phases: 95,000 Dth would be placed in service in fall 2012 and 130,000 Dth placed in service in August 2013.
