CB&I Awarded Contract For Temple LNG Expansion Project
CBI was awarded a contract in excess of $100 million by UGI LNG, Inc. to engineer, procure and construct the expansion of the Temple LNG peak-shaving facility near Reading, PA.
The work scope includes a new 50,000 cubic meter LNG storage tank and related processing facilities designed to provide 150 MMcf/d of natural gas during peak demand periods. The expansion will connect into the Texas Eastern pipeline to provide gas supplies for Mid-Atlantic and Northeast markets.
