Consultants Audit TransCanada Hoisting Safety

A global training and consulting firm, ek pass, announced Jan. 7 that it has been commissioned to perform hoisting and lifting operation audits on a major project for TransCanada Pipelines.

The audits will focus on all the major elements of hoisting and lifting safety from both an operator and regulatory compliance viewpoint. This initiative by TransCanada is intended to bring further improvements to an established safety track record.
