INPEX to construct new Itoigawa – Toyama pipeline

INPEX has announced plans to build a 63-mile, 20-inch diameter natural gas trunkline extending from Itoigawa city, Niigata Prefecture, to Toyama Prefecture, Japan.

The pipeline will transport natural gas from INPEX’s Naoetsu LNG receiving terminal in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, to the Nihonkai Gas Co. and other customers. The LNG terminal and pipeline is expected to be completed in late 2014.
