Drill String Services Inc. is an API Q1- and ISO 9001:2008-certified full-service pipe inspection company that has been serving the oil and gas industry for 20 years. With facilities in Morgan City, LA and Victoria, TX, Drill String Services works at onshore and offshore locations in Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado and Arkansas and across the United States.

Abdul Munim Saif Al Kindy, general manger of Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operators was named chairman of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference scheduled for Nov. 1–4, 2010 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.

McDermott plans to separate into two independent, publicly traded companies: Babcock & Wilcox and J. Ray McDermott.
