Pipeline specialist STATS Group has strengthened its presence in Oman with the opening of a new workshop, storage and testing facility in Muscat. The expansion follows a two-year contract extension to provide pipeline isolation and hydrostatic testing services for Petroleum Development Oman. STATS also has expanded operations in Abu Dhabi with its move to a larger workshop and office facility in the Mussafah district.


 

Williams announced that The Williams Foundation has pledged $1 million to provide community support during response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Its grants for community support focus primarily on emergency response, food insecurity, health and human services and K-12 distance learning solutions for public schools. The Foundation also will support Williams’ employees by matching their personal contributions.


 

The Exelon Foundation, along with ComEd and Exelon Generation, announced a $2 million donation to the Illinois COVID-19 Response Fund to help residents impacted by the pandemic.


 

TECO Companies, which include Tampa Electric and Peoples Gas System, donated $1 million to local charities that will benefit those financially affected by the pandemic, including $500,000 to the Salvation Army’s Share program, which supports customers who cannot pay their utility bills.
