Al Walker, former chairman, president and CEO of Anadarko Petroleum, has been named to the board of directors at Enable Midstream Partners, a joint venture between CenterPoint and OGE Energy. Robert Gwin, a former president of Anadarko, also has been appointed to the board. Walker was CEO of Anadarko from 2012 and chairman from 2013 to 2019, when the company was acquired by Occidental Petroleum. Gwin served as chairman of LyondellBasell Industries from 2013 to 2018 and was named president in 2018.  

Snelson Companies and PLH Group announced that Kevin Farris has joined as director of Business Development. Farris brings more than 25 years of industry experience, most recently as senior director of Gas Operations at Henkels and McCoy. He has also held management positions at Bilfinger Westcon, Spectra Energy, Citizens Gas, Williams and El Paso Energy. Farris earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Indiana State University and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue.

Mitch Stendal was named president of KorTerra after serving as chief strategist for the damage-prevention software company. Don Lewis, who previously served as president, is now chief operating officer. KorTerra also hired Laura Johnson as senior project manager and promoted Erik Chamberlain to manager of Cloud Operations from post development manager on its Technical Services team.

Charlie Cunningham joined Vacuworx’s North America sales and leadership teams as senior director. Based in Maryville, Tenn., he manages the sales team while driving distribution partnerships to support material handling in the oil and gas pipeline and utility infrastructure markets. 

Angela Kolar, Colonial Pipeline’s vice president of Operations Services and chief risk officer, was appointed by U.S. Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao to serve as an industry representative on the Technical Hazardous Liquid Pipeline Safety Standards Committee. Commonly referred to as the Liquid Pipeline Advisory Council (LPAC), the group serves as an advisory body for the Department of Transportation. The committee is responsible for evaluating proposed pipeline safety and environmental protection standards, as well as providing information, advice and recommendations for policy initiatives. Kolar will serve a three-year term through July 2023.

Arun Kanskota has been appointed CEO at Algonquin Power & Utilities after joining the company in February to succeed the retiring Ian Robertson.

VGS named Neale Lunderville as president and CEO after Don Rendall announced plans to retire in September after leading the company for six years. Most recently serving as chief operating officer at VGS, Lunderville’s experience spans the public and private sectors. He was general manager of the Burlington Electric Department and cofounded and led a compressed natural gas distribution company.
