Paul Illingworth joined Houston-based SSP Offshore as CEO. He will help advance the technical and commercial status of its proprietary SSP® floating platforms.

Kim Pizzingrilli, former Pennsylvania Public Utility Commissioner, joined Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC as a government relations professional in its Energy & Utility Law Section.

Kevin Lyon became deputy chairman of Aberdeen-based service contractor RBG Ltd. CFO Andrew Glen was named finance director.

T. J. McIntyre was named international key account manager at Elster Instromet. He is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies with engineering, procurement, construction and major energy client accounts.

Emery Johnson has joined EagleBurgmann as dry gas seal sales manager for North America.

Houston-based Valerus Compression Services named two members to its leadership team: Scott McKinnon, vice president of procurement and Frank Smith, vice president of production equipment. McKinnon will focus on expansion of overall business services to increase market share in the production equipment business with emphasis on shale play.

GL Noble Denton named Chris Harding as executive vice president for the Americas. He directs all business activities of GL Noble Denton in the United States and Canada, Brazil, Mexico, and Trinidad & Tobago.

Artificial Lift Company Ltd. promoted Peter Moulsdale to director and vice president, operations.

Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS) named Kai Umino director of sales support, responsible for domestic and international sales support groups.

Ron Brogdon joined GlobaLogix Inc. as business development manager.

Aberdeen-based Hydro Group appointed Benoit D’Alancon as a business partner. He will help drive activity in France which is identified as a major market in the subsea sector.

Bill Donaldson was named Scotland/Northern England manager for Quest Offshore Resources Inc. He has extensive experience in operations, sales and marketing in the marine contracting sector.

David W. Joos will retire as CMS Energy’s president and CEO to assume the non-executive chairmanship of the CMS Energy and Consumers Energy boards of directors. He succeeds Ken Whipple, who has served as chairman since 2002.
