McDermott Awarded EPCI Contract By Al-Khafji Joint Operations

A subsidiary of McDermott International, Inc. won an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) project for Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO), in the Hout field, in Saudi Arabia in 31 meters of water.

The EPCI project comprises more than 600 tons of structures including a tripod jacket, deck and flare tower and a 42-km, 24-inch subsea pipeline. McDermott will make modifications to existing platforms in the Hout field through its dedicated brownfield division in Jebel Ali.
