Pipeline Loop Construction for Susquehanna West Project Approved

FERC has approved Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, L.L.C.’s request to begin construction of two pipeline loops, totaling 8.1 miles, for the Susquehanna West Project in Pennsylvania. As part of the commission’s ruling, Tennessee Gas also has received the authority to proceed with construction at Compressor Stations 315 and 319 associated with the project.
The Susquehanna West Project will transport additional volumes of natural gas to the Susquehanna region of Pennsylvania and will provide 145,000 dekatherms of additional capacity for one customer. Construction is expected to be completed no later than Nov. 1, 2017.
