Pre-Feasibility Study Contract Awarded for Australian Pipeline
10/30/2017
ACIL Allen, in conjunction with GHD, has been awarded a contract by the Australian Government to conduct a pre-feasibility study on the West-East Gas Pipeline.
Under the terms of the contract, ACIL Allen will be responsible for the market and analysis component of the study, while GHD will be responsible for the pipeline engineering and pipeline route assessment component.
Based on the the findings from the pre-feasibility study, a full feasibility study may be performed to test the viability of constructing a natural gas pipeline to provide additional gas supplies and increase competition in Australia’s east coast gas market.
The pre-feasibility study is expected to be completed in March 2018.
