Geospatial Holdings Inc. has entered into a strategic alliance with Topcon Positioning Systems, Inc. The purpose of the alliance is to jointly market Geospatial’s Smart Probe™ Pipeline Mapping Technologies with Topcon’s IP-S2, 3D above ground Mobile Mapping System. With the combined technologies municipalities, engineers, pipeline operators and utilities are capable of gathering and managing 3D geo-referenced surface features along with 3D underground pipeline data.

In recognition of its outstanding performance in delivery, quality, lean practices and customer support, Simrit's Germantown, WI facility was awarded United Technologies Corp.'s Supplier Gold status. Part of the Simrit Division of Freudenberg-NOK, the Germantown facility manufactures and supplies diaphragms for UTC's Milton Roy Company, which manufactures controlled volume (metering) pumps and related equipment to handle a wide variety of fluids.

Ironshore Inc. has established a dedicated Energy Casualty division as an extension of its Global Energy unit. It can now offer Energy Casualty and Property coverage to the energy industry for diverse commercial clients worldwide through its insurance platforms in the U.S., London and Bermuda. Ironshore will provide up to $10 million in capacity targeted to lead umbrella and excess layers. The Energy Casualty business will underwrite all traditional energy classes of business, including but not limited to, oil and gas, power generation and utilities.

Expro completed a £1.2 million redesign and refurbishment of its Churchill facility in Aberdeen, Scotland. The project will allow Expro to handle the increase in demand for subsea safety systems used by operators to deliver critical well control functions in challenging deepwater regions.
