The Oklahoma State University Alumni Association recently honored Oneok’s David Kyle of Tulsa as a 2009 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient.

Kyle and five other recipients were recognized at a public reception Sept. 12 in Stillwater and later during halftime of the OSU football game against Houston. The award is presented to alumni for professional achievement and community service.

Kyle graduated from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in 1974. He received his MBA from the University of Tulsa in 1987 and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School advanced management program. He spent his career working for Oklahoma Natural Gas and its parent company, Oneok, where he was chairman, president and CEO from 2000-2008.

Personnel Changes
Dennis Klumb Jr. has replaced his father, Dennis Klumb, as president and COO of KSEnergy Services. Prior to helping start KSEnergy Services (along with Tom Schaitel, Rick Klumb, Shawn Klumb and Mike Klumb), Dennis Jr. was president of Arby Construction from 1998-2004 and senior vice president of Gas at Quanta Services from 2002-2004.

Bruce D. Coventry was named president of Dresser’s engine business, Dresser Waukesha. He succeeds Barry Glickman who has been named president of Dresser’s Flow Technologies business.

Tulsa, OK-based Mesa Products Inc. has added two energy industry sales professionals. Ron Duke joins Mesa as business development specialist, covering east and central Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana. Nicholas Zuckerman is Mesa’s new Houston office business development specialist handling activities in south and west Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Samuel N. Brown joined Plains All American Pipeline L.P. as vice president - Pipeline Business Development. Brown served at TEPPCO for over 10 years, most recently as vice president - Commercial Downstream and previously as vice president - Pipeline Marketing and Business Development.

Following a career that spanned more than 33-years, Frank Glaviano Sr. will retire from Shell effective Nov. 30. As vice-president of Production for Shell's Americas Region, Glaviano was responsible for assets and operations in the Gulf of Mexico, Alaska, Venezuela, Brazil and Argentina.

Atlas Pipeline Partners L.P. has named Eric Kalamaras CFO of Atlas Pipeline Partners GP LLC, the general partner of Atlas Pipeline Partners L.P., and CFO of Atlas Pipeline Holdings GP LLC, the general partner of Atlas Pipeline Holdings L.P.

Chris Hogan is AGA’s new communications director. Hogan formerly was director of corporate affairs and investor relations.

Apache Corp. said Jon Jeppesen, Anthony Lannie and Kregg Olson were promoted to executive vice president and Aaron Merrick and Obie O'Brien were named vice presidents.

Deep Marine Technology promoted Wade Abadie to president and COO.
