Russia And Iraq Plan Pipeline Projects

Pipeline Asia News reports Russia and Iraq have reached agreements regarding the construction of two pipelines.

Under the new agreement, Russia will aid Iraq in the construction of the Kirkuk – Baniyas pipeline that runs from the Kirkuk oil fields in Iraq to the Syrian Port of Banias that was damaged during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The details of the second pipeline are yet to be announced.
