Tricor Holds Open Season For Storage/Hub Facility

Tricor Ten Section Hub LLC is holding a non-binding open season from June 1through Sept. 30, 2009 for its planned natural gas storage and hub facility located in Kern County, CA. near Bakersfield.

Tricor plans to file for a Section 7(c) certificate with the FERC shortly. Initially, Tricor plans to interconnect with Kern River and Mojave interstate pipelines located approximately 21 miles southwest of the Ten Section Storage Field thereby initiating interstate storage service to customers in the adjoining Western states region. Depending on the results of this Open Season, Tricor may consider offering storage service to intrastate customers by connecting to the PG&E and SoCal pipeline systems.
