T.D. Williamson enhanced its Multiple Dataset (MDS) gouge vs. metal loss (GvML) classifier, resulting in the industry’s first published performance specification for gouge identification and depth sizing within a dent. MDS offers comprehensive mechanical damage assessment by leveraging multiple technologies on a single inspection platform, where data are easily correlated to identify coincident threats. Weldcote
Weldcote introduced its MIG 200 Striker multipurpose welding machine for steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Designed for metal inert gas (MIG), tungsten inert gas (TIG) and stick welding, the machine is a small, compact, dual-voltage (115-volt or 230-volt) unit with digital readouts that automatically identifies the power grid voltage and operates accordingly. The welder features power factor corrector (PFC), which increases power efficiency, reduces input power requirements and stabilizes the welding current, maximizing efficiency on extension cords and generators. The MIG 200 Striker is a single-phase inverter for synergic operation with MIG, lift TIG and stick welding. Caterpillar
The new Cat D7 dozer offers high-drive undercarriage design, increased performance and the broadest choice of easy-to-use technology features. A fully automatic,four-speed transmission offers optimal fuel and dozing efficiency. At 265 horsepower (197 kilowatts) and an operating weight of 65,644 pounds(29,776 kg), the new D7 dozer replaces the D7E. The D7 moves up to 8% more material per hour than the D7E, with about 6% more weight and 12% more horsepower. Blade capacity is increased by 10%, and the elevated sprocket undercarriage delivers better ride and balance, as well as increased penetration force. The completely redesigned cab, common with the D5 and D6/D6 XE, offers more space, multiple seat and control adjustments for optimal comfort and a 10-inch (254-mm) touchscreen operator interface. www.cat.com

Featuring two hot-swappable power supply modules and IP connectivity for status monitoring and output control, Matrox NRG maintains high-performance encoding, streaming, recording, decoding, extension, switching and display operations in 24/7 and mission-critical environments. The device includes two field-replaceable redundant power supply modules of 300 watts each, with hot-swap functionality to replace an individual power module without interrupting the 12-volt outputs. Siemens
Siemens is offering the Simotics SD200 severe-duty motor in frame size 440. Providing high productivity and energy-efficient operation in all torque ranges, these new cast-iron National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) motors are built to power pumps, fans, compressors, hoists, winders and similar equipment in harsh environments. With a three-year warranty, the SD200 motors offer 75 to 800-horsepower output and feature 444-5013 cast-iron frames for operation in 460-volt and 575-volt ranges. They meet or exceed NEMA Premium MG1 Table 12-12 efficiencies. A wide selection of options is offered, including IP56 ingress protection, encoders, brakes and blowers, plus others to suit the applications presented. Each die-cast aluminum rotor assembly is dynamically balanced for extended bearing life and includes a high-strength C1045 carbon steel shaft for maximum performance..
