What's New February 2023

Mission Secure

Mission Secure released its Sentinel 5.0 platform, enabling Zero Trust security architectures for critical infrastructure. The platform provides context-aware cybersecurity policy monitoring and enforcement for operational technology systems.

Sentinel 5.0, Mission Secure launches a platform that allows operators to define and enforce granular policies based on a wide range of inputs, including network traffic, attempted remote access, asset firmware versions and vulnerabilities, and the actual digital or analog signal generated by physical devices. While the Sentinel 5.0 platform includes standard capabilities, the platform’s core component is a policy engine that enables OT-specific workflows. www.missionsecure.com

NDT Global

NDT Global presents its OPTIX Data Visualization and Insights Platform, providing pipeline operators with an intuitive, cloud-based dashboard to visualize all inline inspection (ILI) data in one accessible location.

Digitization of the final inspection report, combined with the ease of filtering and arranging relevant data, allows operators to better understand their ILI inspection results and make more informed decisions to ensure the integrity of their pipelines. The platform provides a comprehensive view of pipeline conditions not previously available, bringing together results from many inspection runs. www.ndt-global.com

Antaira

Antaira Technologies introduced its LMP-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67-24 and LMX-1802G-M12-10G-SFP-67 Series Light Layer 3 managed series of switches. The IP67-rated switch was designed specifically for industrial applications that are subject to high vibration and shock, water, and dust.

It is backed by a five-year warranty. The switches offer 24 to 55 VDC redundant power inputs through a five-pin M12 K-coded male connector. Total power of 240 watts is available for supplying up to 16 IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and 802.3at (PoE+) devices. Easy to manage, the 16-port 10/100/1,000 Mbps LAN M12 ports offer 148,800 pps for fast packet switching with store and forward technology. The 8-pin M12 CAT6A sockets with X-coding female connectors feature auto-negotiation speeds, full/half-duplex mode and auto-MDI/MDI-X connections. www.antaira.com

OleumTech

OleumTech offers its electromagnetic flow meter as part of its H Series hardwired process instrumentation line. The OleumTech HEFM Magnetic Flow Meter offers polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) lining material, a backlit local display interface and various self-diagnostic features for managing critical device health.

The HEFM flow meters can be custom-ordered using a variety of line sizes, materials and power options to fit the needs of OleumTech end users. Highlights include independent measurement of fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and conductivity; two measuring points inside the meter with no moving parts; reference accuracy of ±0.2% of reading; output signal options of RS485 Modbus/4-20 mA/2-8 kHz pulse output; and a backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) with integral push-button interface. www.oleumtech.com

Esco Tool

Esco Tool offers a portable, inner-diameter clamping pipe beveller with a variable-speed electric motor for use on-site. The Prepzilla Millhog Clamping End Prep Tool features an electric motor with increased power and variable speeds from 9 to 31 rpm for continuous use and faster beveling.

Equipped with a three-blade holder that can bevel any angle, face and bore simultaneously, the tool can produce precision end preps on hard stainless steels and highly alloyed pipe. It only requires one mandrel and eight sets of clamps for its entire range.

The tool is designed for pipe ranging from a 1.575-inch inner diameter (ID) to an 8.62-inch outer-diameter (OD). It has motor specifications of 230 V, 3.08 hp (2,300 W) and 50 to 60 Hz, and it has dual-opposed tapered roller bearings to support the motor. www.escotool.com

Dinkle

Dinkle International added to its 0229 Series portfolio of connectors used for pluggable connectivity between wires for inline splicing, and from wires to printed circuit boards (PCBs).

The compact units are designed for installation in constrained spaces and are available in mating plug designs with various pin counts of up to 40 poles. The connectors work with wire sizes from 28 AWG to 14 AWG solid or stranded conductor.

In addition, Dinkle’s spring cage is easily operated, using press-to-release tabs, so users can install and remove any solid or stranded wires as needed without tools. Contact surfaces are wide, ensuring reliable operation at up to 300 V and 12 A (UL). The connectors are compliant with UL 1059 and IEC 61984. www.dinkle.com/en
