Williams Inks Multiyear Pipeline Services Deal with Eversource
(P&GJ) — Williams Industrial Services Group Inc. has entered into a master service agreement (MSA) with Eversource Energy, a major New England utility based in Hartford, Connecticut effective September 16, 2022.
The MSA covers natural gas pipeline services in Connecticut and other locations, as may be agreed upon, over a period of three years with a two-year optional extension. Specifically, Williams will be tasked with the installation, maintenance, repair and other services associated with the natural gas distribution systems covered under this agreement. Additional terms were not disclosed.
“I’m pleased to announce this multiyear contract with Eversource, an important step forward regarding our strategic decision to enter the critical transmission and distribution market,” Tracy Pagliara, president and CEO of Williams, said. “This area is experiencing dynamic growth through substantial investments to upgrade and expand the national energy grid, funded by the major capital budgets of our utility customers and supplemented by future federal spending from the recently enacted Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. This contract will enhance Williams’ gross margin profile and overall performance in the coming quarters.”
