Southern Star Responds to Pipeline Fire in Terlton, Oklahoma
(P&GJ) — On June 22, Southern Star responded to a pipeline fire that occurred along S 36800 Road in Terlton, Oklahoma. The incident prompted an immediate activation of their emergency response plan as the company works to determine the cause.
Safety remains a top priority for Southern Star, who are collaborating closely with local first responders to extinguish the fire. A contractor sustained a minor injury during the incident and has been treated and released, with all other personnel confirmed safe, Southern Star said in a statement.
As a precautionary measure, one nearby landowner was evacuated, though no additional evacuations have been revealed at this time.
Southern Star assures that service to their customers has not been impacted by the event and expresses appreciation to local authorities for their swift response and ongoing support.
