MapleLNG Wins Pipeline Approval

MapleLNG has received its permit from the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board for construction of a 1.3-mile pipeline to carry natural gas from its LNG terminal to a connection on the Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline.

The board was satisfied with MapleLNG’s responses to issues raised during the public review period. The remaining permit is the federal Navigable Waters from the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.
Provincial and federal environmental approvals have been received for an LNG import and regasification facility in Goldboro, Nova Scotia to accommodate LNG carriers up to 250,000 cubic meters.
