Craig Arnold Appointed GM of Dow Oil & Gas

The Dow Chemical Company has appointed Craig Arnold general manager of Dow Oil & Gas. Arnold will assume the role as of June 1 and will relocate to Houston, where Dow Oil & Gas is headquartered.

Arnold succeeds Janet Giesselman, who will retire from Dow at the end of the year.

Arnold began his Dow career in 1997, holding various commercial roles in South Africa and Switzerland. He became the global product director for Synthetic Rubber in 2004, assuming additional European responsibility for Dow Elastomers in 2006. In 2007, he was promoted to the role of global business director for Synthetic Rubber. In the spring of 2008, Craig moved to Midland, Michigan, to assume his most recent role as global director of Corporate Development.
