NuStar, Velocity Partner To Build Eagle Ford Shale Pipeline
NuStar Logistics, a unit of NuStar Energy, and Velocity Midstream Partners plan to partner to build a 70-mile pipeline to transport more than 100,000 bpd of Eagle Ford shale oil products to NuStar’s terminal near Corpus Christi. Plans call for Velocity to build and operate the 12-inch pipeline that will originate at Gardendale just north of Cotulla and connect with the storage facility NuStar is building near Three Rivers, south of San Antonio NuStar’s Three Rivers storage facility will connect to its existing 16-inch pipeline, which has the capacity to move 200,000 bpd to its Corpus Christi North Beach terminal.
