Southcross Energy Acquires South Texas Pipelines

Southcross Energy acquired 58 miles of natural gas pipelines in South Texas from Tauber Pipeline, LLC.

The 6-, 8-, 10- and 12-inch pipelines are the former Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company (TGP) 4A and 5A systems that Tauber acquired following TGP’s receipt of abandonment authorization from the FERC.
Southcross will integrate the pipelines into its existing gathering and intrastate pipeline systems in South Texas, which will enhance its gas transmissibility.
