McDermott Scores Pipeline EPCI Project In Arabian Gulf

A subsidiary of McDermott International Inc. has won a project for a customer in the Arabian Gulf.

The work includes engineering, procurement, construction and installation of a new tie-in platform, with a 3,200-ton topside and six-pile jacket, two auxiliary platforms, jackets and bridges as well as five observation platforms, 44.7 miles of pipelines and 28 miles of subsea cables. Water depths range from 10-30 meters. Project completion is expected in mid-2015.
