ESAB Welding & Cutting Products introduced new Flux Pack™ packaging for its OK line of submerged arc welding flux. The packaging uses heavy-duty low-density polyethylene (LDPE) material to protect dry agglomerated welding flux against moisture re-absorption from the atmosphere. These products include ESAB’s Spoolarc® SAW wires and OK Fluxes for various grades of carbon steel, low-alloy steels and stainless steels. The packaging has an extended shelf life, ensuring fresh and dry flux is ready to use for high-production SAW applications. www.esab.com
ESCO Tool
A pipe-beveling tool upgraded with three blades that combine to rapidly provide compound bevels on highly alloyed, heavy-wall pipe is introduced by Esco Tool. The MILLHOG® Dictator Pipe Machining Tool mounts to the inside diameter of heavy-wall pipe from 4.5 inches to 18-inch I.D. by using three wide clamps with hardened steel contact points. According to the company, it can perform a 37½-by-10 degree bevel or any other angle simultaneously. The tool develops 4,100 ft.-lbs. of torque at the cutter blade and pulls a continuous thick chip without cutting oils. Ideally suited for stainless steel and super duplex piping systems, this beveler has a 3 hp air motor. www.escotool.com

Proto® Industrial Tools announces its new line of six pneumatic impact wrenches, including 1-inch and #5 Spline, which come with two different handle configurations and three different anvil options: Flush 1-inch anvil, 6-inch extended 1-inch anvil, and 6-inch extended #5 spline. All six of these impact wrenches have a through-hole anvil. Hobart Brothers Inc.
Hobart introduced its FabCO® 750M gas-shielded flux-cored wire. The wire was designed to provide low diffusible hydrogen weld deposits (3.5 ml per 100 g of weldment) on high-strength applications and minimize the risk of underbead cracking. It is especially suited for welding API 5L Grade X100 pipe or as an overmatch on API 5L Grade X80 pipe. FabCO 750M wire offers high-impact strengths at temperatures as low as -60 °F. It operates with a shielding gas mixture of 75-80% argon and a balance of CO2 and provides a tensile strength of 121 ksi (using a 75/25 shielding gas mixture). AMETEK Subsea Interconnect has expanded its portfolio of high-pressure, high- temperature (HPHT) connectors with the addition of its Elite Series Wet-Mate connector. The 3-channel connector is designed to operate in extreme environments found in subsea and downhole oil and gas applications. Co. introduced the Big Blue® 350 PipePro SF engine-driven welder/generator – a smaller, more portable version of the Big Blue 800 Duo Pro SF that also features the exclusive FieldPro™ Smart Feeder compatibility for improved productivity and efficiency in field-welding applications. The multi-process system can run conventional stick, DC TIG, FCAW and MIG welding – and now advanced Regulated Metal Deposition (RMD®) and pulsed MIG processes with the addition of the FieldPro Smart Feeder. Doosan
The new DL200-5 and DL200TC-5 (tool carrier) are the first Doosan wheel loaders with a hydrostatic drive system – in place of the traditional torque converter transmission. The wheel loaders replace the “dash-3” models, transitioning from an interim Tier 4 to Tier 4-compliant diesel engine. They offer improvements in fuel efficiency, operator comfort, serviceability and reliability. Like their predecessors, customers can choose between two lift-arm designs. Both models have a 2.6-cubic-yard bucket capacity and can be equipped with an optional hydraulic quick coupler to easily change non-hydraulic attachments, including buckets – general purpose, light material or multi-purpose – and pallet forks. www.DoosanEquipment.com
