After 10 years, API President and CEO Jack Gerard said he will step down when his current contract ends in August. Until then, he will continue to direct the association’s work and assist in the search for a new CEO. Since Gerard joined API in 2008, membership grew by almost 50% and added members from every sector of the industry, a spokesman for the organization said.
