Condor Boosts Uzbekistan Gas Output as First Horizontal Well Reaches TD

Condor Energies has reached total depth on its first horizontal well in Uzbekistan and delivered strong gas flow from two new Jurassic workovers, pushing production to nearly 12,000 boe/d.

Condor Energies has reached total depth on its first horizontal well in Uzbekistan’s Andakli field and boosted regional output following strong results from two workovers in a neighboring field.

The A-23 horizontal well was drilled to 3,775 meters, including a 1,007-meter lateral in a Jurassic carbonate reservoir. Initial gas flowback has been observed, with full testing expected after the rig moves off and production targeted for December.

Condor also recompleted two wells in its nearby North Syuzma field after identifying bypassed pay in deeper Jurassic clastics. The North Syuzma-01 workover delivered 7.6–11.4 MMscf/d of gas and 58–66 bpd of condensate, while North Syuzma-12 flowed 4.0–6.6 MMscf/d with additional condensate volumes.

The results have increased Condor’s combined gas and liquids output to 11,844 boe/d over the past three days, up from a Q3 average of 9,978 boe/d. The company plans up to a dozen additional wells in 2026 as it advances its Central Asia gas development program.
