PipeSense, Monitor Emissions Partner to Strengthen Canada’s Pipeline Integrity Systems

PipeSense has signed an exclusive partnership with Indigenous-owned Monitor Emissions to expand leak detection, pig-tracking, and hydrotesting technologies across Canada. The agreement aims to enhance pipeline integrity, reduce fugitive emissions, and strengthen maintenance practices nationwide.

PipeSense and Monitor Emissions have formed an exclusive partnership to expand access to advanced pipeline integrity technologies across Canada, providing operators with new leak detection, pig-tracking, and hydrotesting capabilities.

The agreement gives Canadian midstream companies full access to PipeSense’s suite of proprietary tools—including PipeGuard, PipeTrack, PipeScan and PipeTest—which use ultra–high-frequency pressure sampling, machine learning and real-time dashboards to identify leaks and anomalies with greater accuracy.

Monitor Emissions, an Indigenous-owned inspection specialist with strong ties in the Western Canadian market, will serve as the regional provider of PipeSense’s systems. The collaboration is expected to help operators reduce fugitive emissions, improve response times and enhance overall integrity management.

PipeSense executives say the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to a “common-sense” approach to pipeline integrity, while Monitor Emissions highlighted the alignment with its mission to bring advanced, proven technologies to industrial customers across Canada.
