Elevation Midstream Opens Bids for Colorado DJ South Crude Pipeline
Elevation Midstream has opened a binding open season for its DJ South Gathering system, a new crude oil pipeline connecting Adams and Arapahoe Counties to Weld County, Colorado. The project combines new construction with existing capacity and is expected online in Q3 2026.
(P&GJ) - Elevation Midstream, LLC announced that its subsidiary, DJ South Gathering, LLC, has launched a binding open season for shipper commitments supporting development of a new crude oil gathering system in Colorado’s Denver-Julesburg (DJ) Basin.
The proposed DJ South Gathering system will transport crude oil from receipt points in Adams and Arapahoe Counties to delivery points at the Platteville Complex and Lucerne Station in Weld County. The project combines new pipeline construction with existing, underutilized capacity on Elevation’s current trunk line network.
According to the company, the system will operate as a common carrier liquids pipeline, providing long-term crude transportation options for producers and marketers in the DJ Basin. The project is expected to enter service in the third quarter of 2026.
The open season began October 27, 2025, and will remain open until 5:00 p.m. Central Time on November 25, 2025. During this period, interested parties may submit binding bids for transportation service by executing a Transportation Services Agreement (TSA) with DJ South Gathering. A form of the TSA is available to qualified bidders upon signing a confidentiality agreement.
Elevation Midstream said the open season represents an opportunity for shippers to secure firm capacity on a strategically located system linking key production areas in the southern DJ Basin to established market hubs in Weld County.
