Golden Pass LNG Train 1 Complete, First Cargoes Expected in March
Golden Pass LNG Train 1 has reached mechanical completion, with ExxonMobil expecting first cargoes in the first quarter—an important step toward startup at the Texas LNG export project.
(P&GJ) — Golden Pass LNG Train 1 achieved mechanical completion late in 2025, with first cargoes expected in the first quarter, Exxon Mobil Corp. said in its 2025 results release on Jan. 30.
The company highlighted Golden Pass LNG among key developments advanced during the year, noting the project’s progress toward startup and initial exports.
