STATS Opens Texas Pipeline Manufacturing Facility

STATS Group opened a new manufacturing facility in Rosenberg, Texas, expanding its U.S. pipeline isolation, hot tapping and line-stop equipment capabilities.

(P&GJ) — STATS Group has expanded its North American operations with the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Rosenberg, Texas, aimed at increasing production of pipeline maintenance and intervention equipment.

The 80,000-square-foot facility will manufacture pipeline fittings, including hot tap and line-stop components, supporting the company’s pipeline isolation and intervention services across North America.

STATS said the project represents its first dedicated manufacturing operation in the United States and the largest capital investment in the company’s history.

The company cited growing customer demand for shorter lead times and U.S.-manufactured equipment as key drivers behind the expansion.

Brandon Glover, manufacturing director for STATS Group U.S., said the facility is expected to improve production responsiveness and provide greater control over manufacturing quality and output.

The new site includes a modernized machine shop designed to produce fittings and components for STATS’ proprietary hot-tap and line-stop systems used in pipeline maintenance and repair operations.

STATS provides pipeline isolation, hot tapping and plugging services for onshore, offshore and subsea pipeline infrastructure across the global energy industry.
