Punj Lloyd Wins Indian And Mid-East Contracts

Punj Lloyd has won a contract the B-127 Cluster Pipeline Project in Mumbai from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.

The scope of work includes detailed engineering design, surveys, procurement, fabrication, load out, tie down/sea fastening, tow-out/sail-out, transportation, installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning and commissioning of 115- km rigid submarine pipelines in nine segments, relocation of an existing SBM, installation of a PLEM along with anchor piles and topside modifications of four existing platforms.

P.K. Gupta, director – Punj Lloyd said, “The project requires meticulous planning and synchronization due to its complex arrangement and challenging time frame,” The project is scheduled to be completed by May 2014.

Earlier, the Punj Lloyd Group received an offshore project in Al?Khafji, Saudi Arabia from Al Khafji Joint Operations. The US$57.75 million project is scheduled for commissioning in September 2014. Work includes detail design, engineering, procurement, testing, transportation and construction/installation and commissioning of a 20-inch OD crude transmission line and 40-km submarine rigid pipeline.
