Schoneberger
Bob Schoneberger, United Piping, Inc. co-founder and pipeline advocate, died of a heart attack Nov. 11 at his northern Wisconsin hunting property. He was 60.
Following years at Lakehead Pipeline, which is now Enbridge Energy, Schoneberger co-founded United Piping, Inc. in 1997. During his 20 years as president of UPI, the company expanded from a local mechanical contractor into a regional pipeline facility construction and maintenance company.
Plank
Raymond N. Plank, a former combat pilot who helped found Apache, died Nov. 11 in Ucross, Wyo. He was 96.
Plank, a Yale graduate, was at Apache when it began drilled in Cushing, Okla., eventually increasing in size though partnerships with Shell, Amoco and Occidental Petroleum, among others.
