LeakVISION

LeakVISION offers an in-pipe leakage detection sensor, mounted to a robot base or push-rod camera system. The system is used to inspect in-pipe features for leakage from joints, connections and other areas. The system was developed to decrease excavations, which require street work and disruptions.

The system’s technology makes use of thermography to analyze and highlight leakage by directly scanning the pipeline and pinpointing the area. This allows teams to make targeted repairs with pin-point accuracy the first time. The inspection collects large amounts of data, and the related risk model can use site and network data to help manage pipeline risks in a different way to the MRPS that prioritize replacement. The LeakVISION system also comes equipped with a display monitor for live pipe viewing. www.synthotech.com

Takeuchi

Takeuchi expanded its TB300 Series excavator product line with the new TB350R short-tail swing compact excavator, the first short tail swing model in the manufacturer’s five-ton class. The TB350R has a rear swing overhang of just 2.95-inch, allowing operators to focus more on their work and worry less about rear-swing impacts.

The TB350R weighs 10,980 pounds in canopy configuration and 11,235 pounds when equipped with a cab. It is powered by a Kubota V2607-CR-E5B diesel engine that is U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final compliant and delivers 41.7 net hp (ISO 9249/SAE1349) and more than 130.2 ft-lb of torque. A four-pump hydraulic system delivers smooth, harmonized control of the work equipment. www.takeuchi-us.com

Enduro

Enduro’s Digitel Data Logger DW2 ILI pig features advanced IMU navigation equipment that complements our PigProg software containing GIS tools that connect to a system use ArcGIS. Pipeline operators are becoming familiar with new regulations pertaining to CFR 192 and 195 compliance.

Pipelines affected by these new regulations will need accurate mapping along with moderate consequence area (MCA) determination. Natural gas gathering and transmission pipelines also need to be updated. Enduro also has tools to work with liquid pipeline operators for HCA determination using the unusual sensitive area (USA) licensed datasets. www.enduropls.com

NIBCO

NIBCO introduces its line of LD-3000 and LD-7000 Series large-diameter butterfly valves that offer enhanced performance with pressure ratings of 232 to 250 psi, depending on the size range. The valves are designed for commercial mechanical construction and general utility service applications.

Constructed of ductile iron, the epoxy-coated valves feature a molded-in seat liner (available in either EPDM or NBR) that is rated for full pressure end-of-line service, a one-piece, high-strength, stainless steel stem and a double-flanged U-section.

LD-7000 valves range in sizes 14- to 60-inch, with a pressure rating of 232 psi and are available with an option of aluminum bronze, nylon-coated ductile iron and stainless-steel discs. LD-3000 valves range in sizes 14- to 24-inch, with a pressure rating of 250 psi and are available with an option of aluminum bronze and stainless-steel discs. www.nibco.com/nibco-products

Servomex

Servomex’s Servotough SpectraExact 2500 is designed around an easier-to-use digital platform. The new analyzer is a rugged and reliable product ready to handle a wide range of industrial applications, including ethylene production, carbon capture and ethylene dichloride production.

With a new, feature-rich design, and trusted non-depleting sensing technologies, the new SpectraExact 2500 offers extended maintenance intervals and dramatically reduced ongoing costs. It delivers flexible, real-time, on-line process analysis capability in corrosive, toxic, and flammable gas streams, making it ideal for an extensive variety of process and emissions gas analysis applications.

Enhancements include industrial-leading Infrared technology, a larger screen, more intuitive interface, simpler navigation and CE approval for the European market. www.servomex.com/se2500

Honeywell

Honeywell made available two Bluetooth-connected gas detectors that can deliver continuous monitoring for dangerous gases in fog, rain, snow and other inclement weather.

The Searchline Excel Plus and Searchline Excel Edge allow devices to stay online in weather conditions with worse visibility and at longer distances than before.

The Excel Plus monitors feature short- and mid-range applications from 6 to 393 feet (2 to 120 meters), while the Excel Edge provides long-range perimeter or fence line monitoring from 196 to 1,083 feet (60 to 330 meters). www.sps.honeywell.com
