Webcasts
In this webcast, the data experts at Energy Web Atlas and editors of Pipeline & Gas Journal bring order to the construction chaos with a comprehensive update on key Permian-Gulf Coast pipeline projects and their overall impact on export capacity and production growth in this dynamic region.
View On DemandOil prices skidded in the final weeks of a turbulent 2018, but the midstream sector roared into the new year on a wave of pipeline construction activity driven by the global shift toward natural gas, the rapid growth of shale production, and the infrastructure demands created by changing patterns of interregional trade.
Tapping the power of Energy Web Atlas global pipeline datasets, Pipeline & Gas Journal has quantified the impact these midstream trends are having on global pipeline construction activity. Its latest survey indicates 145,353 miles of pipelines were planned or under construction worldwide at the start of the new year – a 73% increase over survey findings published in January 2017.
In this webcast, the editors of P&GJ will share region-by-region survey results and updates on major projects, with an emphasis on those scheduled for completion or final investment decisions in 2019. They also will share their latest perspectives on the potential impact of oil prices on midstream activity in key growth areas such as the U.S. Permian Basin and Gulf Coast region.
View On DemandJoin Energy Web Atlas' 30 minute webcast discussing how Europe's move away from power generated by nuclear fuel, heavy oil or coal is changing the energy supply balance. This webcast will feature data from HP Construction Boxscore on small-scale and large-scale LNG facilities in Europe. Our interactive demo will illustrate international LNG trade flows, ports that take these ships, and import terminals.

View On DemandDuring the webcast, we will discuss how midstream companies are responding to growing Permian production and review the numerous pipeline projects under consideration or construction to transport crude oil, natural gas, NGLs and refined products to market.
View On DemandAttend this webcast to hear from Hydrocarbon Processing's Lee Nichols, Editor and Energy Web Atlas’ Peregrine Bush, Senior Cartographic Editor and Scott Allgood, Director of Data Services, as they discuss the state of natural gas and LNG in China and give an outlook via the Energy Web Atlas, a web-based GIS platform which allows users to track global industry developments.
View On DemandThe global energy industry has seen how the shale boom turned the US into a leading gas producer and exporter. Much of the recent development in the Americas natural gas/LNG sector has been concentrated in the US Gulf Coast region, which is the key energy hub for much of the world. But what about Mexico? During this 60 minute live webcast, Energy Web Atlas’ Brian Balboa, Research Coordinator, Peregrine Bush, Senior Cartographic Editor and Scott Allgood, Director of Data Services, will discuss the potential future of Mexico by addressing:
- What does the current natural gas/LNG sector look like in Mexico?
- What is the status of Existing, Planned and Under Construction Pipelines in Mexico?
- And most importantly, what key factors should the industry be aware of?
The shale gas boom established the US as the world’s leading natural gas producer and is responsible for billions of dollars of investments in the US gas processing industry. Since 2012, the US has witnessed unprecedented growth in new gas processing capacity and infrastructure. This rise is due to greater production of domestic shale gas, which is providing cheap, available feedstock to fuel the domestic gas processing, LNG and petrochemical industries. New gas processing projects include the construction of billions of cubic feet per day of new cryogenic and gas processing capacity, NGL fractionators, multi-billion-dollar pipeline infrastructure projects, and the development of millions of tons per year of new LNG export terminal construction.
Attend this webcast to hear from Lee Nichols, Editor/Associate Publisher, Hydrocarbon Processing, Scott Allgood, Director-Data Services, Energy Web Atlas and Peregrine Bush, Senior Cartographic Editor, Petroleum Economist as they discuss the future of LNG and the application of Energy Web Atlas, a web-based GIS platform which allows users to track real-time information for every LNG project.
